Billing & Plans
Manage your subscription plan and payment methods.
Overview
MonitoringDog offers tiered subscription plans. Your plan determines how many checks, team members, and status pages you can have, as well as the minimum check interval available to you.
Viewing Your Current Plan
Go to Settings > Billing to see your current plan, usage summary, and next billing date.
Changing Your Plan
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Change Plan.
- Review the available plans and click Select on the one you want.
- Confirm the change. If upgrading, you will be taken to a Stripe checkout page to complete payment.
Cancelling Your Plan
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Cancel Plan.
- Confirm the cancellation. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Payment Methods
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. To update your payment method, click Manage Payment Method in the billing settings, which will open the Stripe customer portal.
Usage Billing
If your plan includes usage-based billing (e.g. SMS notifications), you can enable or disable this feature in Settings > Billing using the usage billing toggle. The current credit balance and usage are displayed on the billing page.
Resource Limits
When you reach the check or team member limit on your plan, you will be prompted to upgrade before creating additional resources. Paused checks still count toward your plan limit.
